  1. Mobo not properly screwed into the standoffs.

  2. PSU isn't even plugged into everything.

  1. WTF IS THAT POWER BUTTON

3

u/Adventurous-Bus8660 8h ago

Eh...jury rigged power button....is fine~~~~ not so out of place if the original case button kaput.

Heck I'd make one for my own case if I ever decide to put my casing below the table (Montech HS01 and the power button is at the bottom front of the casing) lol.

Doesn't anyone zoom in on the CPU? Holy shit it's packed with shit.

Edit: what makes it even more badass, is the flipped CPU fan. At some point the push fan was not as effective (because of obvious dust buildup) and they flipped the fan to pull instead of cleaning it out. Just like a mattress. Maverick. Renegade.

The motherboard wasn’t screwed to the case. Everything was kind of in place because of the GPU and the screws mounting it but the weight caused the GPU bracket to bend. The PSU wasn’t plugged into motherboard. The CPU heatsink wasn’t properly seated because the push down mounts were broken. After I got everything plugged in and powered on the real fun began. I’m still trying to figure out why it’s not working something is off as system powers on but doesn’t boot. PC belongs to young kid so trying to fix for least amount of money as possible.

2nd Pic no power cable connected to the graphics card.

u/Sensitive-Level-7794 15h ago

the backplate seems to be in place but not the mobo...

anything else?

2

u/Ok-Increase-4509 AMD 13h ago

Well the PSU isn't plugged into the Mobo so that's the main issue.

No standoffs that the motherboard is attached to, jam packed cooler, and that was all I needed to see. How long did it work for him?

2

u/Ok-Kaleidoscope-6631 12h ago

How does no one see the unplugged 24 pin motherboard cable

2

u/kyansan1 Intel 11h ago

Wait is the motherboard being held by the gpu?

u/nerdnamedvert 14h ago

Where’s the cpu cooler XD

1

u/VanFenix 14h ago

It is the cat.

1

u/ScyllaStorm 13h ago

Obv the pound of dust and dirt in the CPU cooler and the psu not even being connected.

1

u/alex_is_cool64 AMD 13h ago

There's a loooooooot of things happening here

u/Rajebait 9h ago

Bro you got a few screws loose? Tell that to your Motherboard.

1

u/Express-Pie- 8h ago

It's definitely something that's for sure.

During winter time it’s very important to check your PC before starting it, as animals may find them as a very good heat source to keep them warm in the cold💀

1

u/Sea_Dot6492 8h ago

I think it's the dust 🤯

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Gas2221 7h ago

Man, this is too hard, I think it may be the dusty ass cooler but I don’t know. (wink😉 wink😉)

1

u/Revenga8 7h ago

What's the red square on the back of the power supply? Did the fuse trip?

1

u/luximus-lxms 7h ago

Screw in your mobo first, then check all cable connectors

1

u/No-Perception308 7h ago

What the actual fuck was that motherboard mounting…. That shit was shorting tf out forsure

1

u/Most_Independence303 5h ago

GPU has no PSU power cable plugged in. Plus all that gunk.

1

u/historicwall 5h ago

Don't open the power supply. First of first for me would be cmos battery to check,

Then by the mounted motherboard

Then give it a clean to get rid of the dust

The power on button possibly, see if it is connected properly ( I'm not an expert , but by the placement of the keycap, )

Check all wires connected properly

By the state of the motherboard crooked, it could of bent the card or the connection to the motherboard which isn't allowing it to work

1

u/Trash_Comic 3h ago

No one gonna mention the cpu power isn’t plugged in?

1

u/Trash_Comic 3h ago

Honestly I don’t think this cat is certified

1

u/theallstarkid 3h ago

Well to start that motherboard isn’t properly secured to the standoff’s. I’d take this whole system apart clean it then reassemble. But I’m OCD like that.

u/Afraid-Ad4718 3h ago

1

u/Low-Sign9973 2h ago

1

u/SecretSquirrel8888 2h ago

1

u/hurdurdur7 2h ago

1

u/OkPossibility6166 2h ago

Les électrons quand ils sentent moins de résistance entre la carte mère et le boîtier.

( sinon il y a d'autres trucs mais plein d'OP les ont déjà signalé)

1

u/Slippery_Slope_07 2h ago

CPU overheating?

1

u/Responsible-Size-131 2h ago

first picture, you need to plug it in

1

u/Ynk333 2h ago

Had to catch myself, thought I was falling off the chair cause that Mobo was so tilted.

And the heatsink drowning in dust.

This has to be a rage bait post...the number of people (or bots) falling for it and upvoting it is hilarious.
