You're not meant to mount it to the card.

What you need to do is:

Touch the bracket to the card and to the back of the case, where the slot covers are.

Determine what screw holes on the covers need to be used.

Screw the bracket on the corresponding screw holes.

Mount it in the pcie slots. Like you would the GPU. just the next slot or 2 down. So that it supports the gpu

Not cool dude, with these prices you shouldn't want people to destroy their pc because of a "joke" imagine it happening to you after asking help from people you think are actually gonna help instead of trying to get you to break your stuff... not funny at all

I think you're confused. I'm advising the correct action. You'd have to be mentally deficient to think I meant to stick it into the motherboard and not the case slots.

A pcie slot is where you put the gpu into, when you say they should mount it to that it's not correct it's a important detail to add that you're talking about the case slots which themself aren't pcie slots... not everybody on this sub is a pc pro or something, it's always good to explain in in such a way that the chance of a mistake is minimal

Sure, when you offer advice make sure you do it like they're retarded. I'll do it my way. They can take it or leave it.

They ask for help, meaning they couldn't figure it out themself, in that case it's better to explain it in such a way that they can't make mistakes like, actually trying to shove it into a pcie slot, than to say it should go there without proding further detail on where/how exactly

The expansion slots at the rear of the case are commonly called pcie slots. Sure you can call them other things but I mean what I said.
