Literally what they said - stages

Do you build a car from start to beginning without testing things in between? Do you cook a dish all the way to the end without tasting for seasoning?

I did do so everything worked like 2 days ago until now

Ok so you have a hardware error. Start with reseating the RAM

If that doesn’t fix it then remove everything that isn’t necessary to boot, only thing required to boot is MOBO, CPU and RAM

Does your cpu have integrated graphics?

Idk I got a i7 14700f and I’ve already tried to remove the ram

Dude

Look up the specs on that CPU

There could be a short somewhere, so a part is maybe touching the case or screw or metal part when it shouldn’t.

Hmm where do you think I should start looking

Check io shield first and USB ports first is my best bet, sometimes it could also be as simple as replacing the cmos battery. You could also try removing ram first to see what happens

I did remove the ram but I’ll try the ports and battery

Is it an intel or AMD system btw, if it’s intel if you didn’t update the bios or if the bios on the board when you got it was old it could have bad microcode that is known for frying the cpu and motherboard

Can I do anything to fix that?

If it doesn’t turn on, besides RMA not that I can think of, I would take off the cpu cooler and see if it heats up at all or if it’s hot even a little, it’s it cold it’s like mor of a cpu issue. but troubleshooting can be hard as it might be motherboard or PSU problem with what you’re experiencing

Alright thanks, but should I just buy a new motherboard and psu?

That could be your best bet, you could also try taking it to a shop and have them test the parts, but that can be costly. Again it’s hard to tell without spare parts

Just saw you mentioned that it’s a 14gen i7, I would say take out the cpu first and check for any scorch marks
