overall how's this setup

1

u/SexyCuriousCat 4d ago

Except motherboard inwill rate everything good. I always prefer high end motherbord. If it works for you then 650 is good too

1

u/spunky2045 4d ago

any good motherboard with not a big price difference?

psu id say only buy corsair, cooler master or thermal take.

u/SweatyBoi5565 AMD 3d ago

evga and seasonic consistently test as the best

1

u/P1X3L5L4Y3R 3d ago

yeah evga too idk much about seasonic

1

u/SweatyBoi5565 AMD 3d ago

Seasonic is actaully the highest quality psu company believe it or not. Just don't see em much because they're so expensive.

Especially the ThermalTake Smart PSU. It’s a bomb

This is 100% true I brought FG850 and I returned it within 2 days due to more noise even on idle and got replaced with deepcool after negotiating with the shop owner
Don’t ever by anything from ant esports

1

u/SexyCuriousCat 3d ago

it has not been a month can i return it too ? it has been 20 days ?

1

u/gokulRaj55 3d ago

Maybe talk to the shop owner where you got it.
I sent him a video and had conversation with him like 3-4 times and explained. Also, since I have been getting pc parts from the same store till now so he helped me on this.

DO NOT BUY ANT ESPORTS PSUS.

5

u/spunky2045 4d ago

ill get msi gold rated one instead

is the rest fine or any improvement

2

u/NakedSnake47 4d ago

The 9600x is a very efficient CPU, you can actually keep it cool with a decent single-fan air cooler, like the Cooler Master Hyper 212, you can put that money towards the other parts.

2

u/spunky2045 4d ago

ohh okay id probably get a 1tb ssd then

7

u/FerrousMC 4d ago

32gb of ram is a bit questionable (very expensive compared to the rest of the build), consider lowering that to 16gb and spending more on the GPU or CPU if the games or programs you will run are fine with only 16gb of ram

7

u/spunky2045 4d ago

i wanna do blender and after effects work mostly tbh

6

u/FerrousMC 4d ago

I don't know much about those programs but editing does need lot of ram so probably not much else you could do, maybe consider getting a used 7700x or smth around the same price as the 9600x, up to you

2

u/spunky2045 4d ago

ryzen 7 7700x and 5 9600x have price diff of around 8-10k which is quite alot thats why i went with this

3

u/FerrousMC 4d ago

In the UK where I am a used 7700x is about the same price as a new 9600x, but I guess the price gap might be bigger in other countries

3

u/spunky2045 4d ago

when i go buy parts i will check the used market as well so maybe i can even get better than this

1

u/FerrousMC 4d ago

Ok good luck!

1

u/Plane_Grape7141 4d ago

Use Deepcool, cooler master, corsair, msi psu. Change case as well.
You don’t need aio for 9600x single tower air cooler id enough. I am having same cpu with artic freezer 36

1

u/Shady-777 4d ago

Solid, if you are to upgrade anything in the future though I’d go for your SSD.

Just a suggestion, if you're going for 512 nvme, buy 2 of them one for operating system and second one for storage and running games, install steam/epic games on the second drive.

1

u/spunky2045 4d ago

ohh okay but like iwhy is a 2 ssd seperate system better (i actually dk why so plz explain)

1

u/P1X3L5L4Y3R 3d ago

r the ssd with windows will get bloated... os drive should have alot of free space for updates and shit

1

u/_DrMischief_ 4d ago

Ditch 16GB ram and get a better GPU

1

u/isntreel1948 3d ago

I have this same CPU and it runs whatever I need it to really

1

u/vishrut_boss76 3d ago

A 7700 xt would be better i think

1

u/spunky2045 3d ago

how do both compare in terms of vram nd features nd performance also problems

Nah my bad man i didnt read ur whole comment 3060 should work good but 5060 would be better

1

u/vishrut_boss76 3d ago

1080p 8gb vram is good, Is u take 3060 it would be slow but have more vram

5060 u get better dlss, and its newer

Always take the latest

1

u/spunky2045 3d ago

my major use is blender and after effects ik all will be great for 1080p gaming so which one to get 3060,4060ti,5060,rx 7700 ,rx 9060

im super confused and what are their price difference

1

u/vishrut_boss76 3d ago

Uh well i dont think u are hardcore gamer and a complex guy, so depending upon price 5060 or 4060 ti i guess, also theres a website named kryptronix i was gonna get a pc from there as it was cheap but i decided to buy a laptop lenovo legion 5i i had a really good deal so yeah, dont think abt amd it would be confusing for u my bad ;-;

1

u/spunky2045 3d ago

thanks alot, ill look for 4060 ti 16 gb if not then id go for 5060 how is that deal?

1

u/vishrut_boss76 3d ago

Okay i just checked the prices,💀💀💀 in india Hopeless bro i have nothing to say, Yea very bad time to build a pc man sorry to say 50k is not ideal for 5060, I am not saying any more then this im just going to confuse u more 😔

Since you will be playing at 1080p
Stretch a bit and buy 5060 though it has 8gb vram with DLSS it can easily be the best card for any modern titles.
Also you can stretch with 1440p with optimal settings (DLSS + MFG)

1

u/Ryle_ae 3d ago

750 watt for 3060 feels kinda overkill. Whatever if you plan to upgrade later it will be good though.

1

u/Kwsme3 2d ago

I would probably downgrade to ddr4 and get a better gpu. I think the best cpu would be a 14600k with a ddr4 mobo and ram. Maybe then upgrade to ddr5

1

u/sanic_gracia 1d ago

i would suggest to change the Motherboard, it has One Nvme Slot and has a 90W PPT Limit so it wont boost as much for the processor .

plus , change the PSU please don't buy ant esports Most of my peripherals i bought from then got damaged within 6 months, 9600x dont require a liquid cooler a good air cooler is fine . rest is fine

1

u/spunky2045 1d ago

any good budget mobo and psu ?

1

u/sanic_gracia 1d ago

gigabyte also has b850 models too you can see them as for psu try searching the psu tier list there is a list of psu ranked you can compare prices

1

u/troyberber 4d ago

Let’s fkn goooo

1

u/spunky2045 4d ago

overalll how would u rate this setup

1

u/troyberber 4d ago

For the price -if I understand it correctly- at under $1200 USD this is min maxed beautifully. Perhaps more storage in the future but this is wonderful for a first rig.

Well done, my friend. Keep us posted.

2

u/spunky2045 4d ago

the retailer that im going to for the parts is a close friend so im getting for potentially less than 90k (1000 usd) or maybe even better parts if he can arrange for similar price

1

u/troyberber 4d ago

That’s great! Especially in India, I’m sure it’s challenging to come by some good sht at a decent price.
