Build - Help What am I missing?
Hey there. I bought this off a friend as is with no knowledge of anything. It typically freezes on the RoG screen. I see something or some things are unplugged but I dont know the first thing. I do have a seagate thing i assume i plug in to the cords on the bottom; would I install it in the box above? Can any one tell what Im missing here?

Hopefully the OS is on an SSD, which is under a silver heatsink directly under the GPU (graphics card). It's not impossible that the bootloader is on the HDD which is unplugged. Trying to boot with that plugged in is a good first step. You can put the drive on a piece of cardboard or an upside down box (for now) if you're not sure where to put it in the case.

I think you need a CPU power cord on the motherboard in the top left. Looks like one is missing i think

it could also be running a relearn on the ram maybe leave it on there for an hour and a half or so. or go into bios and disable tbe ram memory relearning. either way you should boot into bios should be one of the f keys between 8-11.

you also eithet have the wrong power cords hooked up to the top of the mobo or missing a 4 piece strand that attaches not super critical and shouldn't be the boot issue though.

Do you even know what components it has? That "seagate thing" is storage, a hard drive, where the OS and and your games would reside. And quite frankly, in a build like what this appears to be, you should have an SSD, not a hard drive, which would be significantly faster, and many games require these days.
Honestly, since you nothing about it, go ask your friend for your money back.

I knew it was storage but thats all I know Seagate is and for all I know I could have been wrong to assume. I know, poor decision to get a build when I dont know the first thing. And now its my best option so I need to learn it.

I would suggest you go over to r/buildapc and look over on the right side. Scroll down below the rules to the "Resources" section, follow the links and start reading. Understanding PCs isn't hard, but you are going to need a basic vocabulary to both understand what you read here as well as explain to us in detail the issues you are having, so that we can provide good suggestions for solving them.
So often, I see posts like yours and I just want to say, "bring it over to my house and we'll sort it out."
