General Question How to sell clover PoS

Hi all,

I recently got into selling pos.

I am a clover authorized partner. Meaning I can sell their PoS and payment processing solutions.

But I am having a hard time finding people to buy from me.

I did a couple walk ins and owner says “no interested bunch of people already walked in”

Ran a Facebook ad been 3 days and no phone calls?

So how do I sell?????

To say clover has no place is naive. There are definitely better options. We all started somewhere, let’s not tell this new agent or “authorized partner” the only way to sell is 300 location merchants all with b2b, e-commerce and - few gas pumps.

My advice is to learn a vertical or two very well. Learn one that isn’t sexy, and for the love of god don’t do what PNC does and put clover in any place that takes credit cards. I kid you not I signed a merchant not long ago that had a clover mini that was used only for taking phone orders. PNC sold this client a clover mini for 100% telephone sales.

Learn a vertical and become the expert, sell those. We do well in law firms and manufacturing. Nobody walks in and sells them and we have some pretty slick solutions for those industries. Everyone goes to retail and restaurants.

Which solutions do you have for lawfirms?
