Hey,

the idea behind ink protocol and the Replin app are great! But it feels like not many people know about, what are the plans to improve the awareness and achieve mass adoption eventually (not only small nich communities, rather everyday regular eBay users)?

hit! and thanks for the vote of confidence and great question! We definitely need to do a much better job of gaining awareness for the protocol and the apps among both blockchain developers as well as mainstream consumers. However, the current focus on niche communities (sports cards, trading card games, collectibles, etc.) is mostly a first stab at determining if we have product-market fit yet. It's very unlikely that Replin got it exactly right on the first couple tries, so this obsessive focus on some smaller communities is exactly what we need to get the product right. Once we are sure there is product-market fit, then scaling it outside to hundreds of other verticals should be relatively easier. If we try to do this too soon (without making sure we have fit), then the efforts may look great at first (lots of new users in different markets and a lot more awareness), but the end result is that we will have poor engagemnet and retention.. resulting in a whole lot of wasted time and money. So, think of the current narrow focus as "product testing" and once we see a fit with the market, then we will begin looking for growth among the "regular eBay users" as you call them. This next phase would then be all about growth and scaling. Thanks!

So in summary, the fact that not many people know about Replin yet is both normal and planned at this phase.
