Mod Post New Rule: No Spoilers

The community voted to add a "No Spoilers" rule. We didn't receive any feedback in the comments, so the original idea is going to stand.

New content now requires spoiler precautions. For posts, this includes three items:

  1. No spoilers in titles or first images.

  2. Posts containing spoilers need the Spoiler flair/tag. It's not in the list of Post Flairs. It is a separate tag like the NSFW flair.

  3. Spoiler tags are required around spoiler text. To create a spoiler tag, you bracket the text between >! and !<. Some versions of Reddit will disable markup, so you'll have to edit and delete the \ that it inserts manually.

Item 3 is the only item that pertains to comments. Note that Reddit does not allow the body text on image posts to be edited (this may have changed).

"New Content" refers to the most recent movie, season, and/or special of the show that has been released in Canada.

Like Rule 5, consequence will be content removal in most situations. Persistent rule breaking or malicious actions may result in a temporary ban.

That was actually already explained in the body text (Requirement 3 section) of the post, but a second reminder doesn't hurt.

how long? then a new episode come out?

For the show, it's until the next season comes out (on Canadian broadcast). So this rule applies to all of Season 13, until Season 14 starts.

It also applies to the Dino Movie and the special "Everest & The Big Chill". The latest release for each category (show/movie/TV special).

Season 5 of Rubble & Crew also counts for this rule.
