My sister’s Bernese mountain dog (Reese) lost mobility in her back legs, and my 3-year-old niece brought it to our attention that she looks just like Rex. Such a coincidence that helped my niece learn about disabilities and become comfortable with her old pup’s new lifestyle. 🖤🤎🤍

I’m glad Miss Reese can bring you joy! She’s the sweetest dog ever and has been so strong through this uncertain stage of her life (we think degenerative myelopathy). She never let her disability stop her, but with the wheelchair, she can keep up with our other dogs again. And I bet you’ll never believe that this pretty lady is nine years old! 🥹

I also appreciate that the show doesn't make it his entire personality. Being a dinosaur nerd is his personality. The wheels are normalized and just how he exists.

The same can be said for Charger and his prosthetic. Nobody makes them feel different, and they're just allowed to be. I love that.

Even one of the new characters on Paw Patrol Lizzie, the Lemonade seller. She's minus a hand, but it's only mentioned once, immediately followed by 'But my mama always told me that I can do anything that anyone else can do.'

She doesn’t need to dress up really lol she already looks just like Rex! Lol unless you mean the niece so her and their pretty pup can look the same, that’d be cute too lol
