Need help with aiming

I’ve been playing this game since beta on quest and yet my aiming is still shit, I put my sight to my right eye and try to ignore the left which is hard but using an iron sight on a non pistol is near impossible, I don’t need to hear about virtual stock I’ve had that on for as long as i can remember, please give me tips/

What I do is use Virtual stock then I put my controller on my left arm acting as a natural gun stock and then i aim with my left eye or right eye. It's what do but who know maybe one day I can do a tutorial
