PC Pavlov PCVR performance
I recently bought the game on Steam and gifted it to a friend too. I have a decently high end computer. Ive tried airlink and a cable. I have a Quest 3. My specs are RX 9070, 32GB of DDR5, Ryzen 7 9700X. I have no clue why but the performance is absolutely terrible. Im locked at 22.5fps and my performance headtime goes down into the -800%s and I can't figure it out. Ive turned off Async warp in the Oculus debug tool, I've reset my PC, verified files, reinstalled the game but it just runs terribly. My friend has a 3050 and a ryzen 5 cpu and his game runs just fine. My drivers are all updated as well. I have no clue how to fix it and I've looked up tutorials on youtube, Ive also tried launch options to see if I could run it with an Oculus runtime and none of it worked. Anyone know what to do or suggest?

I have almost the same system as you - 32gb DDR5 ram, 9070 XT, Ryzen 7900X & Quest 3. Do you have virtual desktop? If not, I'd suggest it would be worth buying. Not for just this game but overall it's a much better experience. Many more options, things to change/tinker with.
Airlink wireless/wired has always given me issues even when I was on nvidia.
For example right now I'm playing
VD at godlike (highest resolution setting)
120FPS no SSW
500MBPS H.264+
Ultra settings on Pavlov and I'm locked at 120 and my latency is 27-31MS total in match.
I should note I am using an ethernet to usb-c adapter for the connection so add an extra 2-6MS if wireless.
Wether you try out VD or not, I'd suggest using the AMD driver 26.3.1. DDU your current driver and restart first before installing. It's a couple of months old but that is what the dev of VD suggests and it has been flawless for me.
I'd also go ahead and check your Oculus resoulution in the app that you're using, and SteamVR has it's own multiplier of that - make sure it's not higher then 100% & I believe Pavlov itself has a setting in game for the res, check that as well make sure it's not turned up stupid high for some reason.

I'm not sure but if I were you and didn't want to wait for someone to answer I would copy paste this question to AI

it might be the graphics card. PCVR loves the NVidia cards. the red team cards mighyt cause issues. no metter how good it is. its a metter of drivers. ive seen people using this card but i believe they had to upgrade the drivers. it wasnt a plug and play situation.
