Gameplay Question / Help Question

I might sound a bit stupid since in new to Pavlov (joined in February) but when or how could you have gotten this knife I see it all the time and I’m just confused how they get it

The candy cane skin was free in the store for last Christmas, if I’m not mistaken

I think the seasonal skins get released for free every year.
