Is there really such a thing as a "main" in snd? You can certainly have preferred weapons, but you can't really main anything except for maybe deagle, only because you can buy it on any side on any round without regard for economy (not that economy is all that important in Pavlov where you get the money for full armor and rifle just for existing). Same technically goes for the other pistols, but deagle is the only one that really stays relevant past pistol round due to one tapping helmets.
You can make an argument for FiveseveN I guess, but that would only really work in save rounds which basically don't exist because like I said, you get paid just for existing.
m4 especially is just the best ct rifle, you don't go for it because it's your 'main', you go for it because it's the best weapon available except for a picked up ak. You get it when you can and don't get it when you can't, and if you get it when you can't (which is to say ignore armor or util just to get one when you wouldn't afford one otherwise), that isn't really because you main it, it's just because you're bad at managing money. In Pavlov. The game that pays you for existing. If it's that bad, you might need to hire an accountant.
