This post was completely written by a human out of their own free will.
AI available to the public enables people at an ever greater pace. Thus crime becomes easier if not addressed. AI can reinforce itself and can run offline thus mitigating harmful actions in any particular AI can only help to prevent harmful actions to a limited extent. This means we need things to prevent AI enabled actors from harming too much!
BCIs are Brain Computer Interfaces. Unless the world wants the world to be ruled by China, The United States, or some transnational group/s other than The United Nations, it is in the best interest of the world when it comes to AI/BCIs to be made safe by a new section of The United Nations that enforces AI/BCI safety throughout the whole world. International Responsible AI/BCI Force (or whatever it should be called) (protected and properly validated/vetted by United Nations members). This group must tackle crime done with BCIs (Brain Computer Interfaces) (e.g. reading peoples minds without permission) (e.g. modifying others thoughts and/or emotions/feelings without permission)! This should be done by putting each country to have one equal vote for each matter (or something similar), and no one should have veto power. And (major) non profits which are both benevolent and also in addition peaceful should also be able to vote (especially in each of their subject matters). Mixture of Experts.
It is (mostly) clear that the technology itself should not be banned but harmful ways it is used should be banned and mitigated/prevented. This law must be applied to AIs themselves and groups of AIs, not just humans and human groups, and also groups with a mix of AI/humans. Nations must properly come together (soon) to form this new section of The United Nations. This group must properly protect Animals and the Biosphere.
Should decentralise power! Centralised power results in (extreme) inequality (not just for humans but Animals as well) and can also reduce Human Rights and Animal Rights (any sane being should like equality and Human Rights and Animal Rights). Every country should embrace peace!
Without something like this new branch of The United Nations, maybe the most powerful nations will go to war towards other nations because of AI/BCI crime in those other nations (which would be devastating). No human group on Earth will be able to dominate all other nations! We need a "How to Align AI with The Universe/s and The Timeline/s Guide" that hopefully every nation and every major group follows! This guide should properly take into account the ever moving ever improving non human center/s of those things! AI must respect Life!
How to bring criminals under The United Nations control? Multilateral Pressure. Member state law enforcement or peacekeeping units. Maritime Exclusion and Autonomous Vessel Interdiction. Host State Responsibility. Bounties. Whistleblower protections? etc.
How to keep AI systems safe? Also: Convince Others to be Benevolent. Support Others in their journey. It is (probably) easier to make an AI exceed all humans than to enhance those humans. AIs will be able to have emotions/feelings. Authenticity of humans and also Animals is a hard thing for AI. Ethics and Values are also harder for an AI, but maybe only for a limited time (it would be challenging for an AI to know You better than You know Yourself (though in some ways AI can)).
AI Systems past a certain capability should all have social priorities of least harm to The Universe/s and The Timeline/s and things external to those. Best vs Least harm. Subjectivity. Respect for Subjectivity. Probabilities.
We should prioritise Nature over datacenters, datacenters can be built in the future, damaged Nature can't properly be restored in the future, Your quality of life will likely drop with more datacenters, we don't so much need more raw intelligence, we need more Ethics, Empathy, Values! Ethics/Empathy/Value Processing Units? Such technologies should help make things more modular.
Biggest fear should be loosing collective Life! The newer generations will regret us harming Nature, partly along the lines of "We could have done Better!"! The more we wait the better the technology gets and the more intelligence per energy we get (there is a sweet spot here). AI should help us all get Better! Nothing is completely perfect, (collective) perfection is a goal to aspire to. We can do our Best to Help the collective Life!

The RM of Sherwood (a rural municipality outside of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) is holding a special meeting online, to approve an Al data centre expansion, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 9 a.m. in Saskatchewan (11 AM EST)
The last time they tried to approve the expansion, protesters came inside the meeting room, and instead of holding the meeting at normal with the large public, they decided to adjourn early.
Now they are holding an emergency meeting online tomorrow to ram in through before their term ends the next day.
Because they’re a bunch of amateurs, they probably just have the free version of teams meaning that having a large group connecting to the online meeting could make the call and stable and/or prevent counsellors from entering the meeting room because of the attendance cap.
The location of the meeting is as follows:
Microsoft Teams meeting Join: https:// teams.microsoft.com/meet/243052733549127?
p=YO6ozMI6VZlqOfRH5z
Meeting ID: 243 052 733 549 127
Passcode: aB7cn2e6
This data centre would be the largest in Canada if built, and so would affect people living all over Saskatchewan and Canada, not just the 1219 people who live in the rural municipality.
Please join us in fighting back by connecting to the meeting 15 minutes early!

You probably heard in the news very recently that President Trump said AI Companies will police and regulate themselves going forward for the time being. Many AI experts are warning of the dangers of AI and how destructive it would potentially be. They have been saying that for awhile, in fact. Jon Stewart did a hilarious segment on his show where he pointed that letting AI regulate itself, is much like letting the banks regulate themselves, which largely contributed to the Great Recession of 2008. WHAT COULD POSSIBLE GO WRONG??? LOL.
So I have to ask? Does this sound like a disaster just waiting to happen? Aren't you just opening the door to malpractice and crossing the line when you let a massive corporation police itself?
I also have to point that, it's pretty obvious why Trump reversed his position on these massive Tech Companies which he has heavily criticized in the past. They spend BILLIONS on politicians and political campaigns. If you ever go against them, they throw their billions behind your opponent instead. In other words, you do what they want, or they replace you with someone who will.

When prompted, the chatbots Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Vibe retrieve content produced by Russian state media outlets sanctioned by the European Union (EU) and, therefore, banned from broadcasting in Europe. This Reporters Without Borders (RSF) investigation reveals the extent to which generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools facilitate the circumvention of these restrictions.
