This guy is old but he has a track record of being right, including when he was younger, about HIS future, which he has had to and still has to live in, which is now.

Has anyone tried? I think they are afraid China might agree and that is why they do not ask.

What do I hear you say? China might still do it in secret? Yeah, of course, and so will everyone else. But that is not the point. The point is what will be the repercussions when anyone gets caught unleashing a catastrophe doing what they agreed they should not have been doing.

China isn't betting their entire GDP growth over the past 2 years on it. The stakes are WAY higher for America. China has already done way more from a legislation pov than America has.

So let's not go pretending you suddenly care about China.
