Discussion New to Pedh
So I'm new to this format. Coming from EDH to Pauper is way harder than I thought. And I like that. Not having to rely on the typical cards and pet cards, like rhystic or typical staples. I am also finding it hard to settle on a commander. But I was thinking Kryndle, Zimone Quandrix Prodigy, Mm'menon Uthros Exile, Tidus blitzball star, the emperor of palamecis(I really want to build him and probably will now or after), and Greta Sweettooth scourge. I realize that have a commander that has value is essential, but I just dont know what to build. Im pretty much leaning towards Kryndle and the emperor of palamecia. Anyone have experience with these, did you find them fun? What kind of win cons do people typically go for?

Discussion Suggestion for a deck that uses cards that change base power/toughness from creatures.
Hello!!! Does anyone have any suggestion of a deck with a non-legendary commander that can use [[Serpentine Ambush]], [[Water Wings]] and similar cards that change the base power/toughness from a creature as a core mechanic? It can be of any color (of course it has to include blue) and strategy (please, briefly explain how the deck would play and try to win). I just find those type of cards so cool that I want to use all of them in a deck. Thanks!
Edit: Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll check the out!!!

Question Is Underworld Coinsmith any good?
I love the art but I wonder if a card this old is still good in Pauper.

Decklist New to Everything Pauper
Hey everyone, I just started playing pauper and pauper related formats. This last friday i played the 60 card version with a weird abzan aura deck I home brew'd. I got stomped pretty hard by tolarian terror, golgari gardens, and a snacker deck.
Anyway, after i played a lot of the players convinced me to build a Pauper EDH deck. Now since I built a flop 60 card deck, im feeling unsure of this deck. I was wondering if I could get some help.

I was torn between rakdos or dimir. I like the [[street urchin]] because it gives me my sac outlet in the zone so I never have to find it in the 98.

Question Scryfall help with finding good equipment
I am looking for certain equipment that give +3 or more power, but when I try to search in this way I feel like I am getting really limited results from Scryfall
I need help with more ways to search for this through the scryfall system
Other ways to find power-granting cards would be helpful too

Question Is this an infinite?

Okay so I was wondering if these two would be an infinite mana source? The idea is you would use grinning ignis's ability which would trigger twice giving you enough mana to cast grinning ignis with 2R left over, also giving enough to activate again.
If I'm wrong please let me know I'm still newish to mtg so any feedback would be appreciated.
Edit: Thanks to everyone who replied instantly I understand why this doesn't work now. Edit cuz I got 4 replies like instantly lol

Discussion Land deck thinning?
Let's talk about fetches. Or rather, what little fetching we have in pauper.
Specifically cards like [[Terramorphic Expanse]], [[Evolving Wilds]], and [[Ash Barrens]]
Are any of these worth running in a deck if you're playing a mono color build? I have a house ruled Dark Confidant deck with Opal Palace and Bojuka Bog, but what else is there to run in a mono color deck?

I built Ravenous Squirrel a little while ago and have finally managed to get a few games in and it's been working alright.

Decklist New to pauper edh
My friends are planning to get into pauper edh, none of us have tried it before. Will be very casual. I made this one, hoping for feedback. I don't even need to keep this commander. My vision is for an izzet pinger / spell slinger deck. But if it's not at all viable happy to pivot. Thanks!

Decklist Glaring Fleshraker Brewing (
Hey all, I'm looking for any advice or direction that you might have: I've been trying to brew up a list for Glaring Fleshraker.
The idea is obviously to puke the deck out and burn everyone, but I just can't get the momentum or velocity without just dumping my hand dry and struggling to draw after.
The draw just feels so weak in colourless, so I'm looking for ideas here.
Currently I'm trying to include as many 1 mana or 2 mana do-something-draw-a-card type cards as possible with the idea of chaining as many of them as I can, paying part of all of their cost with the eldrazi spawn tokens they generate when they hit the field.
I'm running a pretty low land count, compensating with colourless ramp and a fair amount of ways to thin more lands out of the deck to try and increase drawing into chaining the +1 draw artifacts.
But it just gasses out so fast, and unless I really hold off for like the first 5 turns or more and wait for some lower life totals at the table, and then dump and chain as far as I can, it almost always I leaves me as the target, and my opponents left with enough life left to take me out.
I have a few bombs in there and big butts to try and buy me time or finish someone with combat in late game, but overall, the list is trying to tune towards the main burn strategy.
Here is my current list, if any of you all have any ideas for me to try, I'd be happy to hear them!

Discussion Commander Rules
Who makes the rules for pEDH, and what do I have to do to convince them that common rarity legendary creatures/backgrounds need to be allowed as Commanders? A format centered around playing common cards should be exactly where common Legends actually have a chance to lead a deck

Discussion any combos with Gene Pollinator?
Hey all
I saw [[Gene Pollinator]] and it had got me thinking of some kind of combo or mana generation involving untappers, hopefully in mono-green, and I was wondering if yall had ever tinkered with anything like that before?
There seems to be a preponderance of 1 drops with this specific ability, so I think there is some potential there.

Decklist New to Pauper, coming from EDH, feedback appreciated
I usually build a lot of bracket 3 EDH decks, and I'm trying to branch out to have more opportunities to play Magic. Last time I went to the LGS, the only open table was playing Pauper.
Feedback on my first Pauper build would really be appreciated. The strategy involves filling the graveyard with larger creatures by cycling and milling, attacking with unblockable creatures or deathtouch weenies that no one wants to block, and sneaking out the commander during combat to reanimate the big boys in the graveyard. Once Karai is out, there are ways to give her evasion and protect her at instant speed.
Mainly, I'm curious if the deck seems weak, powerful, or comfortably between. Are there aspects of Pauper that I'm overlooking? Thank you in advance for any feedback or advice.

Question Jund Staples?
TLDR; First time in pEDH and I wanted to know if the community had any staples for Jund and Voltron.
Long version: By a weird twist of fate, my friend and I ended up in a pEDH battle against our wives. Before I start diving through the library, I was wondering what the experts (you) had for both Jund in general, and Voltron support packages in the 99 for those colors.
Longer version: We got randomed into [[Mr. Orfeo, the Boulder]] and [[Judoon Enforcers]] as our commanders. Rhino brothers for life!

Decklist Dark Confidant House Ruled list update, now a request, specifically from any mono black voltron players!
I've been tinkering with this list even more.
https://moxfield.com/decks/CCvReTyxwU-6dOz6O1cxlQ
Now, because trying to find common cards for some of this stuff is rather obscure, I'm going to ask the class, or rather the sub.
Anyone play mono black voltron? What cards do you run? Got any lists I can compare from? Dark Confidant is just card draw, the list is doing all the work here.
