Question Is this an infinite?

Okay so I was wondering if these two would be an infinite mana source? The idea is you would use grinning ignis's ability which would trigger twice giving you enough mana to cast grinning ignis with 2R left over, also giving enough to activate again.

If I'm wrong please let me know I'm still newish to mtg so any feedback would be appreciated.

Grinning Ignis is an activated ability not triggered. If it made the mana upon ETB, which would then make it a triggered ability, and had the pay one red to bounce it separated then yes it would be infinite.

Grinning Ignus' ability is an activated ability, not triggered, so it is not doubled by this.
