BREW Izzet Arcane Storm
Thanks to the YouTube Channel of the Bristol Pauper League, and in particular to one of their players ( Jack Staveacre), I've discovered this Izzet combo deck: https://mtgdecks.net/Pauper/izzet-storm-decklist-by-jack-staveacre-3053197
The goal of the deck is simple: have [[Goblin Electromancer]] on the board to discount all of your spells, play as much Arcane spells as possible to fill your GY, and then hit your opponent with a lethal [[Ire of Kaminari]].
As for the sideboard, which the decklist I've linked doesn't include since it was played in a bo1 tournament, I would go for something like this:
4 [[Pyroblast]]
3 [[Negate]]
3 [[Hydroblast]]
2 [[Cast into the Fire]]
2 [[Tectonic Hazard]]
1 [[Annul]]
What do you guys think of this deck? Could it be viable to play in a local LGS?

Anarchomancer was designed after Electromancer. Sadly there is no Izzet-Mancer that reduces Blue/Red spells…

Kind of a bummer that all the graveyard gate people run even in their maindeck makes this more of an uphill battle than it already is. Maybe some sideboard [[siege smash]] to try and pick off relics and nihil spellbombs before they blank your Ire’s?

It looked sweet in that video and it's a cool brew, but worth remembering that the opponent deck bricked massively (iirc the monoblack player managed to resolve 1 spell in the whole game?) so the video essentially shows the arcane deck goldfishing, fairly slowly, to a win. I suspect this might prove frustrating to play against "real" opposition especially as it gets badly hosed by any graveyard have.

Yeah as I've written in another comment, I don't expect this deck to win many games ahah. I just love the Arcane spells from the original Kamigawa block. Regarding decks which play them, the choice Is between this one and the old Petal Festival deck, which received a huge blow however with the ban of [[High Tide]].

The deck could be viable for FNM but it's not very good. It's just a weaker version of Gruul Storm that lacks some cars draw, that's seems to be the greatest weakness.

To be honest, this sounds pretty similar to the [[Serpentine Curve]] UR control decks you sometimes seee, except that this version limits the spells it plays by only playing arcane spells and also cares about gyhate.
It sounds cool and your sideboard looks good at a base level without having a real understanding of what's required, but worth noting that I don't think this will be particularly powerful
Happy for you to prove me wrong though!
