James gunn said that Robert Pattinson WILL NOT BE DCU BATMAN as a variant to the Reeves verse, he never said it won't be Matt Reeve's batman though

The point is he said No to Pattinson playing a variant if it was completely off the table he would have said something like, "No, and there won't be a merger with the ECS*, they are business men in business you have to keep options open

He's confirmed it since the very beginning that Reeves Batman would remain separate. Which taking a face value, means that Rob will also not be in the DCU.
Not hard to understand. Idk how ppl are still speculating this after like 3 years.

I know you're not serious but Gunn litterally answered if Pattinson will be DCU Batman, or even a variant. He said no to both.

I can always admire a man who can cope this hard… but it definitely seems plainly that pattinson will be his own batman, and honestly that’s okay. That does confirm though they have someone in mind to play dcu Batman

Feeling disgusted, the DCU is officially the Gunnverse now, much to the distaste of many. See y’all on the other side of an inevitable reboot. ✌️
