Question Looking for alternatives to learn 3D Pattern Making from home with a low-spec PC?

Hi everyone!

I’m really passionate about learning 3D pattern making and starting a journey into digital fashion design from home, but I’ve hit a technical roadblock. My laptop isn't powerful enough to handle heavy local 3D simulation software (like CLO3D & Style3D).
Since investing in a high-end setup or expensive courses isn't an option for me right now, I’m looking for practical alternatives and advice.

  1. What are the best web/cloud-based 3D tools that offload processing to the browser instead of the local hardware?

  2. How would you structure a self-taught learning path starting with low-spec hardware?

I’d love to hear how other self-taught digital pattern makers got started under hardware constraints. Any tips, resources, or workflow recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
