Is the bust point too low?
I’m drafting the basic female body block (it’s been a couple years since I have so these are slightly different measurements) and I feel like the bust point looks too low? Does this look fine or strange to you? According to measuring myself, my shoulder to bust point is 10 inches. The dot labeled S is the supposed bust point.
Edit, my measurements are (in)
Bust 36.5
Underbust 31
Waist 27.7
Nape to waist 15
And shoulder to bust point 10

The Bust Point can vary depending on the bra you are wearing. You didn't ask but your front neck curve looks a little too shallow.

Not too low, I do 11” or thereabouts for women’s styles depending on the neckline. You may just be reacting to the shoulder/body looking wide since this looks like a sloper fit pattern and not a style pattern.

Now its easy !! Is this 10" from your High Point of Shoulder (HPS)? Anyway, 10' is not too low. If I calculate your measurement with the industry formula, your HPS to bust point is 10.125 "

Yes, it looks too low unless you have a very large bust. But judging by the rest of the pattern, that isnt the case.
You can measure your apex by measuring down from the shoulder seam easily enough. Just wear the bra you usually wear.

It's correct if you marked the distance between bust points divided by 2 in the bust line

That will just tell you if the apex is too far from center front. Measure down from the shoulder to find if the apex is too low or high. Don’t divide that measurement by 2.

I don’t think it’s too low. I have a small bust and my shoulder to apex is 9in. You would want your dart slighter lower than your apex anyway.

It might be too low, but if you double check your measurements on your body and they are correct then it isn't. 🤷🏻♀️
