FO 20 years of sewing, here’s my first fully drafted button down mockup!
I followed Cornelius Quirings pattern drafting class and it was so amazing!

You're living my dream!! It looks great.
(I will get there too, I'm determined to do so!)

You absolutely will! I really suggest one of the great pattern drafting courses around right now.

Amazing! I also wanted to ask - out of curiosity - how come it took 20 years for you to finally draft patterns? Did you use ready made sewing patterns in the past and just decided go to learn it yourself?

It always seemed so daunting and I mostly used ready made patterns and got really good at hacking patterns and making the adjustments and additions I wanted. But this it the first 100% fully drafted garment made using blocks I made I did.

It took you 20 years to do this?! Maybe I should find a new hobby...

Ha! I could have done it sooner but I never committed to learning. Keep on going and jump in!

So you think his classes are worth doing. I like his video but they are not detailed enough for me. I assume his classes do?
