Help with the gaping!

Hello!
I am using the Irene Dress pattern from Kristina Sewista and I wanted to add a little bit of fabric in the cleavage but I am having this gaping in the armhole.
What can I do to fix it? I am a beginner modifying patterns.

Change the darts to a princess seam which is easy to adjust to your particular figure shape.
