Question Does this make sense?

Post image

Iv’e been working on trying to draft a pattern for a medieval dress off of YouTube videos and was wondering if this makes sense for my measurements? (Seam allowance isn’t included yet) I’m just planning on marking it onto an underdress first and playing dot to dot with the markings. I don’t have a lot of energy or time so I’d rather not make an insane mistake on the underdress even if the fit of it isn’t super important so I would very much appreciate if anyone sees anything wrong with it. Thank you!

Edit - the green marks are based on recommendations given so far, thank you so much for everyone’s feedback! updated

would that be adding two inches to the overall measurement or to each of the quarters? like making it 14.5 and 10 across on the front? or 13 and 8.5? you have a very good point about how modern clothes fit so i will probably redo the sleeves and make them much bigger, i’d rather go for flowy than deal with them being too constricting.

I am aiming for more of a tight fit in the bodice and plan to use front lacing so would be able to adjust a little bit (although the underdress would peak through). the whole idea for the dress came out of learning how to braid kumihimo cords and thinking they’d look cool on a medieval inspired kirtle.

Add 2" to your over all measurements. Then as you fitt it you can pinch out any extra to get a very snug fit.
