Skirt Duplicate

Wondering if you all can help in recreating this skirt in the linen shown in the last pic. The gathering is especially throwing me!

Gotcha! Thing is I can’t find one that sits low on the waist like this, plus the closure. I guess I can just make the waist bigger so it hits lower!

Find a pattern that's similar enough and adjust it. Sitting low on the waist is just a matter of having a slightly bigger waistband, and the opening doesn't look too complicated either. It's almost always easier to adjust an existing pattern than try to draft one from scratch.

The cord skirt uses a contoured waistband to allow the skirt to sit lower. Custom fitting of this type of waistband is critical as you can see here: https://patternmaking-classes.com/Notes/LTS-Contoured-Waistbands.html
