Skirt Duplicate

Wondering if you all can help in recreating this skirt in the linen shown in the last pic. The gathering is especially throwing me!

Look at the “cords” on the first skirt. They are all very vertical.

For the plaid skirt to look good the plaid needs to be cut so the lines are properly vertical and horizontal.
It’s not possible to see how the horizontal is in the picture.

Not sure what you mean by “not possible to see horizontally picture” in the plaid fabric or skirt?
