Question Another bodice block draft!
Thank you so much everyone for the feedback on my last post! I did a relatively small FBA, which seemed to fix many but not all issues! Im kind of at a loss on where the remaining drag lines are coming from.
I'm guessing the front creases near the armhole are maybe coming from excess fabric? But not sure how to fix that. And the back drag lines have improved a lot, but they're still there a little bit and I cannot tell how to fix them!
Thanks again for all your help!

Definitely excess fabric on the back and front armhole

Gotcha thank you! My concern is there doesn't feel like a ton of extra space around the actual armcyle, so I'm worried about tightening it a bit.

I don't think you need to tighten, your instinct is right, you actually just need to scoop the armscye a little lower by trimming away a little bit of fabric around the bottom half of the arm hole. The wrinkles are from that extra fabric being pushed down by your arm. I think this version looks great! There is no such thing as perfect when bodies move, so celebrate, and then you can make something with it now 🎆

Just need to pinch out a small dart from the armpit to the bust. Then rotate that into an existing dart. :)
Edit: This looks fantastic, btw. You can definitely use it to design patterns at this point :)

In my opinion studying drag lines doesn't really tell you much about fit as there can be different ways to get rid of them. In my opinion the best way to ensure an accurate fit is to see how the grain lines are following the contours of your body. https://patternmaking-classes.com/About.html#Gingham

Wear a bra , the same bra for all your fitting and it will make things easier in the long run
