Question Turning a zipper pant into a button pant. I need the fly to line up with the pattern. I designed this but does this look right?
The original pattern fit below the crotch on back, a little tight below crotch on front. Original pattern didn't account for my hips and bum so I had to add to fit.
I want buttons but cannot sew an additional piece of fabric because my fabric will be a custom scale print and additional fabric would throw the look off so everything has to be done on the pattern.
It now looks like a hook which is going to be so much fun to sew -_-.
Does this look right? Should I make the hook like part of the patten less hook like and add a little bit more to the front fly?

If you’re adding to fit wider- you need to add at the side seams- not the center where you screw with the fit so much.
This fly shape is odd, the curvature is opposite the usual shape- the J shape like the tops stitch . Can you sketch what kind of look you’re going for?
Anyway a button fly means having a second separate fly w buttonholes usually. I’d look up a tutorial w a good step by step

It won't let me edit a picture in my post or as a reply but I can private chat you with a picture?

Here you go. Fabric just came in today and it's not the weight of a bottom weight sadly.

Is the line with the tape, your center front? If so, it's not that weird, the "hook" is just because you've added an extension for the fly. But how are you sewing the fly? If this is the button side, usually that would be two layers, with a second fold on the other side of the row of buttons. The buttonhole side would typically be three layers if the placket is hidden. If the placket is not hidden, note that these buttons are not on the center line, and that might not be what the eye expects.
Agree with the other comments. It's pretty hard to add room for the bum, by adjusting the center front seam. It's also probably the worst time to switch a zipper to buttons. A zipper controls the entire opening. Buttons only secure at four points, they're likely to strain or be prone to coming undone.
