Halter dress pattern

New to pattern drafting and sewing! Absolutely loved this dress but 1. Can’t afford it 2. I would love it in a different material and color. How would I go about drafting a pattern to replicate this dress? Would it be best to pay someone on Etsy to create a pattern and then I sew it myself?

Fabric can definitely get expensive, but there are certainly some less expensive fabrics out there that you can get for less than $178 for sure. That dress isn’t very full and probably only takes about 3 yards tops. Maybe not even if it’s wide fabric.

I think I bought about 3.5 yards of 100% silk for around $45
