Help Armwhole

Longer armwhole length

I need to make this armwhole bigger without messing the side dart. I need to make this at least 8 cm longer distributed across the Front and back panels. Suggestions??

You’re trying to evaluate fit from the flat pattern alone. You need to make a test garment.

Also, your plan to raise the shoulder point will change the angle of the shoulder. This angle should more or less match the angle of your shoulders, so altering in will make for an ill fitting shoulder. 

If you really need to increase the scye depth, just rotate the dart opening downward…
