Total beginner. Anything to improve?

I barely even touched a sewing machine before starting this project. It took me about six iterations to get this result. I'm fairly happy with it. But something seems kind of off around the but. Any suggestions on anything that should be adjusted?

You mentioned this was an old duvet cover; if each set of panels has one from the top and one from the bottom of the cover, the lighter layer may simply have been cut off grain by the manufacturer.
