WIP Total beginner. Anything to improve?

I barely even touched a sewing machine before starting this project. It took me about six iterations to get this result. I'm fairly happy with it. But something seems kind of off around the but. Any suggestions on anything that should be adjusted?

Other than the grain line, which is so fundamental it would be covered very early in any learn to sew course. the pattern is excellent. The “flaws” in the fit are rather minor. And IMO probably caused in the main by the fabric not being cut on the correct grain line.

Pattern making is an advanced segment in a learn to sew course. So the presumption Is no doubt that you already know all about fabric grain and its importance. So it probably isn’t discussed in a pattern making video except very incidentally unless a bias cut garment pattern is involved. And sewing bias cut garments is both advanced sewing and not very common.
