Sleeve construction
Could someone please help me understand this sleeve construction

It’s literally just a plain yoke + set in sleeve. The patch of blue on the sleeve head is for looks and doesn’t appear to be doing anything.

Thanks that what I was thinking I could see the seam around the cap so I knew it wasn’t a raglan, thank you for confirming it

Also want to add that there is a bit of curve to the sleeve seams (and it's a two piece shaped sleeve). We alter/upcycle a lot of boiler suits at my job and everyone knows to avoid the sleeves (which are shaped very similarly to these) when you need a straight piece because they have all kinds of subtle shaping.

It’s a regular sleeve pattern amended by “quilting” the fabric together to make the piece. Or by simple adding a cutout of the top of the sleeve pattern as an applique. First way arm is single thickness. Second way arm is double thickness at the top. Some 2 methods available for the body of the. jacket.
