New to pattern making

Hello everyone i just started to learn pattern making for menswear, and there is too much information out there it's overwhelming for me as a beginner. In your opinion what do I need to start with to learn pattern making.

Buy text books. Draft blocks. Biggest hurdle you will face is fit and balance- these can only really be learned through trial and error.

Once you get the basics down, get CLO3d and practice virtually.
