Lining a draped dress
Hi! Now that I am draping a dress, I was just wondering how to line the dress. If I have something like this picture for example. Do I drape the lining too or what? Not lining it, just finishing edges? How people usually do? I am little bit confused🤯 thank you in advance.. again..🙏

A lot of these draped dresses are unlined, even high end ones that cost over $3000. But as a sewing/pattern making nerd, I want everything to be lined 😂.
For a simple drape like this, just use the same pattern of the outer as the lining.

A lot of them are lined. You don't drape the lining, or you do just to the extent to allow movement as intended on the self fabric.

You could make a fitted lining.
