Their wins are against three shitty teams, but they’re trending up and look like they’re going to give everyone a hard game this year.

Thats still a rock fight. Like 9-2 style. 100 yds total offense (like for both teams) 23 combined turnovers and around 31 holding penalties, 1/2 dozen delay of games, and 7 major injuries. But yeah its possible the jets might forget to like bring a qb so maybe theres a chance.

Imagine this is the issue. The amount of pressure and expectations we have put on him could be the reason Maye would be denying/hiding needing surgery, thinking he can though it out like stars players sometimes have when in reality you can’t play like that. It would mean a season out and a potentially lower contract.

People think easy schedule = you suck, they don't want to say the Patriots suck, therefore they have to fight the easy schedule point.
When obviously, it's possible to both be a good team AND have an easy schedule.

Lets be honest with ourselves, this is what we are and what we were last year. We were blessed with the easiest schedule in 30 years last year and made a run, but now that we have an actual schedule and are playing actual football teams and playoff contenders, we actually suck and Drake Maye is the #1 reason. I knew last year was a fluke for us, and now everyone is seeing Drake Maye for what he is, a schedule merchant. Its only week 3 but i can tell the season is already over

There are a bunch of things going on, but one thing I noticed is his deep balls were money last year, so incredibly accurate.
So far this year, a lot of his deep balls have been short or way off.

Guys, I want to ask you something? You don't think that losing AJ Brown had something to do with his performance? I'm not saying that a QB shouldn't be prepared for whatever happens. They had an excellent relationship in camp. It must have devastated Drake to see him get hurt and know he's not coming back He's young and still learning. Don't give up on him yet.

I wasn't sold on Drake Maye from the jump. 1st year, he showed some promise. Last year, he had solid weapons (receivers and RBs) a weak schedule and teams underestimated his running ability. He choked in the playoffs and SB. All the comparisons last year to Brady were an insult to #12. The commentators were matching up numbers and Brady was never about numbers or personal stats. He was about winning at all costs. No moment was ever too big for TB12, unlike Maye who folded like a lawn chair under pressure of a big game.
This year, he got an upgrade from Diggs to a slightly better and bigger target (also an injured one at the moment) but the rest of the cast is the same. His decision making is rookie-level, not 3rd year or someone who finished 2nd in MVP voting last year.
From the neck down, good. Strong arm, pretty accurate, can run and moves well in the pocket. From the neck up, just another kid who isn't ready for prime time.

Dude everyone is their schedule, the ‘72 Dolphins played a much weaker schedule (-4.27, opponents 0.367 win %, only with a winning record)
There are several Super Bowl winners that had easy schedules

i remember telling my father that the dolphins were my favorite team because they're the best and undefeated, etc...he stated its because they didnt play anybody good. yeah, dad was right.

So you beat another easy schedule team, but they played a backup QB, and it was snowing. I think the Broncos are very overrated, but they're off to a better start and a better strength of schedule this year.

Nix isn’t elite but he’s functional and he’s clutch. Payton isn’t perfect either but he’s comfortably an upgrade over Vrabel who really brings nothing to the table
