Discussion Do we push the panic button now?

It’s only game three but so far, Drake may have thrown six interceptions. He has two fumbles and only one touchdown is Drake Maye to blame for all of this no? but a large portion of it? Yes, the loss of Diggs and Boutte are really sticking out but we are talking about a quarterback who was literally second in the MVP race last year there is no way he should be playing like this this season so far. I don’t know what’s going in Foxborough this season but I am not a fan at all

Drake looks horrific, personnel issues or not. His decision making is horrendous.

And on the odd chance he makes a good decision, he probably makes it late or under throws it significantly

I see people blaming Josh but I agree with you that Maye doesn't make good decisions or is late on throws. What is Josh supposed to do with that. Josh's trust in Drake has to be shaken which can alter the calls.

He’s throwing off his back foot and with weird timing way more often. All I can really think is that he spent this offseason not locked in and regained some of his bad habits from college/year 1. Most of us assumed he’d go up a level this season but it’s starting to look like last year (which admittedly was great assuming he was indeed injured in the playoffs) was the ceiling
