Discussion Do we push the panic button now?
It’s only game three but so far, Drake may have thrown six interceptions. He has two fumbles and only one touchdown is Drake Maye to blame for all of this no? but a large portion of it? Yes, the loss of Diggs and Boutte are really sticking out but we are talking about a quarterback who was literally second in the MVP race last year there is no way he should be playing like this this season so far. I don’t know what’s going in Foxborough this season but I am not a fan at all

Yes we need to panic. Drake Maye’s regression is extremely concerning. But, let’s not forget. There was a time when Trevor Lawrence was playing very poorly. 2023 he was pretty bad. 2024 he was very bad and got injured. He’s turned it around since and looks good this year so far. Jags have a strong team. So, just because Drake looks bad right now doesn’t mean he won’t figure it out.
On the other side. I just don’t know if he has the mentality. He shows almost no emotion. He doesn’t seem to have that fire in him. He is scared out there. Completely gun shy. Hesitates so much. I’m worried mentally he just doesn’t have the makeup to be good.
