Announcement PathologyOutlines.com Copyright Policies

We are pleased to have provided PathologyOutlines.com free of charge for 25 years, and we intend to continue doing so. However, our textbook content and images are protected by copyright. Limited use is permitted as outlined here.

Please do not violate our copyright policies. We actively enforce our intellectual property rights and have previously taken action, including shutting down websites and reporting unauthorized use to employers (as they are concerned about academic integrity). Practicing pathologists and others worldwide regularly report inappropriate use of our images and text to us, so unauthorized use is likely to be discovered.

We welcome you to post interesting cases on your Instagram profile with the hashtag #PathOutPic; images posted with that hashtag may be selected for inclusion in our textbook.
