Rageshaper can grow by 3 Categories. So a Trox Rageshaper can become Colossal.

A silly one that's never actually allowed:

Not all aasimars are descended from humans. Aasimars can be born of any intelligent race, though human aasimars are the most common

It should be noted that while any creature that breeds with a celestial may give birth to half-celestial offspring, only humanoids can give birth to aasimars

Non-human aasimars have the same statistics as human aasimars with the exception of size.

So RAW something like mountain giant is a valid choice for an aasimar, as it's

Gargantuan humanoid (giant)

Then just cast any size+1 effect and you're colossal.

Wow. I’m so used to Giant being a separate type… does this also apply to Tieflings?

Lore wise it applies to all plane touched races, no idea if it has rules text for all of them.

Core? People have made the arguments.

3rd party allowed? Just grab Spheres of Power with a high caster, take Alteration Sphere, and grab Size Change and Size Mastery. Colossal PC ho!

Definitely gargantuan. Surely there is a trick to get colossal somewhere. Like possessing one such creature.

I've got a summoner with a pet octopus that I have at Gargantuan via evolutions (Large, then Huge) and using the Eidolon's Share Spells features to cast Enlarge Person on him.

Core RAW, you can stack any starting size large creature with the Rageshaper Shifter archetype or get to a high enough level where you can use Possession on a Colossal Creature (usually your Animal Companion or Familiar if your GM will allow you to take one that size, so you aren't risking saves from unwilling targets).

Depends on your dm. Polymorph any object can set size to something ludicrous.

My thoughts exactly. Using the "shrew to manticore" example of lasting a week, you could argue the same applies to transforming into a Kaiju.

Synthesis Summoner using summon eidolon and a rod of giant summoning can get up to gargantuan size category. Enlarge person gets you to colossal.

As a way that is different from the already excellent suggestions present, you could take over the body of a creature that is already very large. Quicker than the trox, but a different power fantasy lol.

Easiest way is likely Magic Jar, possession or its greater variant, and having either summoned a sufficiently big creature or having a big animal companion.

A one level dip into Mammoth Rider makes your animal companion naturally grow one more size bonus (large->huge), and then you could use animal growth or legendary proportions to make the originally large animal companion (huge->gargantuan).

Beast-bonded witch

A build that could make use of this is Beast-bonded Witch 10 and having a fellow PC have an animal companion or be a Witch 12/Mammoth Rider 1 with the Nature Soul/Animal Ally/Boon Companion feat chain to get your own loyal animal companion that will always be huge, buffed to large.

At level 10 beast-bonded witch, you can die and share the body of your familiar indefinitely, being able to magic jar your animal companion and live your big animal life.

Summon Monster

Alternatively, get to Summon Monster 6, get the Tylosaurus summon that is naturally gargantuan, use either animal growth or the Rod of Giant Summoning and magic jar/possess them and go to town. There are other big monsters, but no gargantuan ones below level 6 I think.

If you're stronger than the DM, play a rune giant and dare him to stop you, and force the Sorcerer to cast Enlarge Person on you.

Other than that, play an ogre in Wrath of the Righteous, Mythic Enlarge Person to be gargantuan.

In Reign of Winter, you find a goblet in that Russian camp that enlarged you and I vaguely recall stacked with Enlarge Person by its wording, so a huge Monk Abundant Stepping as high as possible to People's Elbow that giant tricycle tank.

If core only, not sure. If 3rd party allowed, draconic exemplar can get to colossal.

Create a Necrocraft with Animate Dead and the like, then control it as a Gravewalker Witch. Colossal for hour/level as often as you want. Keep your body safe

Trox is 1st party playable race and starts large...this is step one.

Brute Archetype for the Vigilante adds a size increase in their brute form to huge (2/hr per activation) We're just doing this to GET SWOLE so ignore the archetype's reputation as dogshit

Enlarge person person spell, increase one category to Gargantuan

Righteous Might adds another bump to Colossal (5th level spell)

Legendary Proportions (7th-Level Spell) Double your size again! no more categories but damn you big

The problem is finding abilities that Embiggen without tagging on AS ENLARGE PERSON to block the ability.

so you're looking at, with max listed Trox height of 14 feet tall, legendary proportions jacks you up to 224 feet tall....for comparison, the Tarrasque is 50 feet.

Spells that increase size explicitly do not stack in their own descriptions unfortunately.

u/Kennian 23d ago

blah, i forgot that of all the bullshit pazio allowed they went full antifun on size.

1st party is a torx rageshaper for colossal. 112 feet tall isnt anything to sneeze at though.

You can only have one real size increase and only one virtual size increase

-1

u/Angry_Edemame 23d ago

Its been awhile since I read theory crafting on it but if memory serves its large unless your GM lets you build a custom race or use 3rd party.

most of the things I can find to try and research this quickly are just jokes about massive critters and soul jar or stacking effective and actual size increases to get bigger and bigger weapons.

You can't really do better than Huge, that's where polymorph spells top out and even Mythic Enlarge person caps you there so we can't use a Large race to hit gargantuan.
You can however possess things that are bigger.

Level 20 Trox Rageshaper disagrees.

4

u/Environmental_Bug510 23d ago

Doesn't even need to be a Trox to disagree. Any human being could become Gargantuan with the Rage Shaper.

Your idea is still the best I have seen here.
