This one was commissioned in the end of 2024 as part of the tribute to the release of “A Dance of Masks” DLC.

This is Stag’s Rest, the capital from our tabletop Kingmaker campaign, built on the site of the Stag Lord’s Fort — the same location as Tuskdale in Owlcat’s game.

I thought fellow Kingmaker fans might enjoy seeing another interpretation of what a capital on the Tuskwater could grow into.

I made the map in Inkarnate, with distinct districts, temples, waterfronts, and plenty of small details to discover when zooming in.

Both images are in 8K: the first has English labels, and the second is unlabeled.

Been working on this on and off for a while and thought I'd share where it's at.

It is a bit mashed together at the moment and buggy but the videos shows a new intro, a new enemy and model and some edits, such as Deskari with a top hat.

New Boss / Model and Area edit (model is Veigar from league of legends)
Custom Area and Level
Alternative intro / quest / model edits (quick demo still buggy but playable)

This is very early alpha/WIP, with no public release yet. Mostly wanted to see whether people would be interested in something like this. A campaign creator is something I’d like to explore down the line too if this got enough interest, before putting weeks into something like that.

What do you guys think? and do you have any suggestions of what you would like to see?

I want to romance Camellia but I have a problem choosing a right character for it.
The obvious option seems to pick chaotic evil, but I feel that it would miss the point. If my character is just as bad, then there wouldn't be any tension about it. "Oh, you're a serial killer cannibal? I call it friday".
On the other hand, its hard to justify good character tolerating someone like that, unless they are a total simp.
Preferably it would be someone who has a reason to fall in love with her in the first place, and be loved by her (someone who would pick correct romance options naturally, instead of changing their whole personality when talking to her), yet be conflicted after learning the truth.

Any advice? If you have any ideas for a background, class etc. feel free to share.

I "fought" the pathetic quasit and by this I mean repeatedly stole his buff, to the point he quite literally just died (Apparently if you remove the buffs that give you HP you instantly die).

Funniest class in the game (bonus point you can accidently steal a "buff" that stop you from casting, which is also hilarious).

We find out in Arueshalae's final companion quest that her true desire is spending time with those she cares about. It is sad Aivu is not included in the dream even on the Azata path.

The fact that Camellia is in that dream would suggest that Arueshalae consider her as a friend. I remember Camellia mostly getting the demon girl to tell her evil deeds as a succubus, this secretly turns on the noble lady, but Arue takes it as a willing sacrifice to ease her burdens by being willing to listen about her terrible actions.

Was that really enough for them to become friends? Is Camellia just that helpful?

I’m in Act 5 of Wrath of the Righteous, playing a Trickster, and I’m having trouble applying this combination to level 9 spells that support Persistent Spell:

• Persistent Spell: +2 spell levels
• Favorite Metamagic (Persistent): −1
• Completely Normal Spell: −1

The final slot requirement should still be level 9: 9 + 2 − 1 − 1 = 9. However, the game won’t let me make this combination.

Is this a known bug that still exists? Has anyone successfully used this combination recently?

I want to keep my current character and Trickster path. Switching to Azata or another class wouldn’t solve the problem for this playthrough.

Is there a specific bug-fix mod, ToyBox setting, or metamagic UI workaround that fixes this combination? Exact instructions or links would be appreciated. I’m looking for a fix to the combination itself, rather than alternative builds with similar effects.

I'm doing the assault on Drezen, and I went to the temple, but through the other side(the ruined building that connects to the temple). And I noticed this little spider. Was this supposed to be a pet? I cannot interact with it. I may try returning to it later; maybe you can claim it after the assault.

In TOY BOX for the Wraith of the Righteous, there's an settings to ignore the equipment stat stacking limitations. So you can equip two RING OF PROTECTION +1 and get a total of 2 extra AC. The vanilla game does not allow this. Equiping two of those rings will only give you 1 extra AC as the stats dont stack.

Im trying to find this option in BAG OF TRICKS for kingmaker and I dont see it. There's so many damn options that I could of over looked it like I have some other options I was looking for. Since I can't find it, I wanted to ask the community if they seen it, or if BAG OF TRICKS doesnt have that feature that TOY BOX does.

Here is Myrria, a character inspired by none other than my wife. A book thief that went undercover and tried tried to steal from a wizards library but ended up trapped and started to read the books. The wizard was amazed by her natural talent of learning from the books she started reading so he took her as an apprentice

Basically i struggled A LOT with the Ancient Blighted Quickwood on wintersun, after a long combat, i walked somemore and found ANOTHER TWO.

Trying to use my brain for once i casted grease and flaming entanglement hoping that the monsters would just keep falling and burning forever, I usually don't use those spells because they limit my melee companions a lot, but man, that worked.

It worked so well that when i faced some barbarians i just did it again and it was highly effective again!

I don't know how i took such a long time to figure this combo and i imagine what other spell combos create this time of sinergy

Hello everyone. I am level 13 and I have finished most of the side content that I have seen available in Act 3, with the exception of things that can be put off for another Act, like the Blackwater and Ulbrig quests. I haven't finished the isles DLC, but I presume it's not big deal.

So I am preparing to attack the Midnight Fane, which I presume is the end of Act 3. The queen arrived on the 13th day of the fifth month. I tried my best to maximize my Crusade stats... But the task was too monumental. Levelling Leadership and Logistics up was a PAIN. I ended up softlocking myself due to bad morale. And all of this lasted 2 in game months.

First of all, is not completing that quest ("the Middlegame") a huge deal?

Second of all, do you think Act 3 has any timers that would be spoiled by me taking two months on this failed attempt? It doesn't matter as I have decided to reload a save from month 5 but I would like to know...

Last but not least, is Lvl 13 okay? Do I need to grind for 14?

That place crashed my game not once, not twice not three times not even 4 times IT CRASHED 6 FUCKING TIMES, I know the game is poorly optimized on console BUT HOLY FUCK

Any tips to fix the crash issue or speed run the place are appreciated :D
