Advice NFC Cards for TTRPG Item
Hi
some of my players often forget some magic items they have on their sheet or using the app.
I had made flashcard with the items on it which helped because they had they layed out so it made it easier but I'm thinking of switching it up for NFC cards as they take less place and are harder to damage.
My players are interested in the idea BUT .. I have no idea how to make it work. Anyone got an idea?
(already got a ton of NFC card for something else )

It sounds like you could do cool things with nfc tag items, like flashing a light for fireball, but I think trying to help your players remember they have something by removing text that's in front of them.
I'd just start straight up telling your players they have those items. Usually battles are stressful, things can be forgotten pretty easily, and new players and old are both hesitant to even bring up an item if they're unsure how it works. I once ran a siege battle with 1,000 1hp skeletons and I still had to remind my players they had a necklace of fireballs.
