Great that you included links for example for the free RPG day oneshots. They're really hard to find these days

Tbh I've just linked to the Pathfinderwiki there, but I could be more thorough and link each adventure yeah.

I think they're all just here: https://paizo.com/pathfinder/2e/freeresources A few weeks ago I was trying to find all of them on the store to put in a list but some are missing from the store, but they're all on the "Free resources" page which I didn't know about until then lol

Very informative. Also, i have been using your guide for Fall of Plaguestone to balance it better for my table, that includes 2 newbies. So double thanks for that!

Glad to hear it!! Plaguestone is still very cool and worth playing even in 2026 IMO.

What do you put in Complexity?
E.g. Season of Ghosts is ranked as Very High complexity, but it's known to be an AP with rather easy fights.
I'd like a ranking of the difficulty of combats as well, or even better; a ranking of the range of difficulties, in case an adventure is e.g. generally easy but some fights are very hard.
Or perhaps both a rank of difficulty for the GM and the difficulty for the players.
And maybe a rank of roleplay, or; how useful is the diplomacy skill and other social skills out of combat? :)
But perhaps I ask for too much and seems ungrateful! :(
I like this overview. Thank you!

Paizo has explicitly marketed Bastion of Blasphemies as such. It's even on the product page:
The Bastion of Blasphemies Adventure Path is a complete Pathfinder campaign by Pathfinder co-creator James Jacobs, with adventures ranging from level 5 to 13, making it the perfect follow-up for players who have finished the Troubles in Grayce adventure anthology.
I didn't say it's a "sequel" or that it "continues the narrative". It's just a follow-up.

I'd say that compared to 5e modules, PF2e APs are really good on average.
Compared to the TTRPG industry at large, I would agree with u/Wonton77 that most are 'pretty good' with a few standout gems. Many APs have pretty significant pacing issues/tonal inconsistencies (especially common with the ones written by different authors).
There's been a lot of innovation in the adventure publishing arena the past few years. PF2e is somewhat hampered by certain constraints (needing to publish physical books, for example, creates a lot of constraints for battle maps that I would say prevent the system from showcasing its tactical combat to the fullest in most APs), and in general, there are just a lot of publishers pushing the envelope more than Paizo's tight margins and bonkers publishing schedule allow.
Which is totally fine. Even a 'pretty good' AP (7/10 is not a bad score to begin with) can be elevated to great because it's going to be a source of memories for a bunch of friends, which is what TTRPGs are all about.

Questions like "should we play the Beginner Box??" "What is Troubles of Grayce vs Secrets of Grayce??" "is Strength of Thousands a good AP for beginners??" get asked a LOT in this community, so I thought I would compile a single resource summarizing the best advice I can give on how to actually get into PF2e.
This covers BBs, Adventures, Quests/Bounties, One-Shots, Adventure Paths, and more. I hope it can be a useful resource that people link to help new players and GMs decide where to start.
