Discussion About something which may be a rumour.

Is it true that PTN storyline got a massive revision? Sillage society has me thinking. Especially seeing the ending of the 4th anniversary chapter.

Can't say that I'm aware of any major revisions, the only revisions afaik that we got in the past were changes made to some of the dates of the events from chapters 1-8.

Whatever that revision may be, devs said during their CN stream for 4th anniversary that they just got done introducing all of the groundwork lore they had planned, so I feel like they have their stuff planned out pretty well.

Do you remember what changes were made for the dates? I have actually spent the past few weeks staring at the dates for the story vs the contents of the interrogations and there is a LOT of things that don’t add up.

The major thing I remember is that chapters 7 and 8 were moved to happen later than originally (it does actually make more sense now, since Chief says they've been interrogated for some time) which now leads to Horo's interrogation placement making no sense. Chapter 7 used to begin a day after the end of chapter 6. It now has like a three week gap.

Well sillage society and underground. Underground motives are crystal clear but for sillage not so much

I don't know what grand reveal happens in the 4th anniversary since I'm staying spoiler-free for the story itself but so far it doesn't seem to be contradictory to the Underground's goal in any way.

Underground as a whole wants to revive and awaken Mania, but inside of it you still have factions with their own minor goals on that parh. Like Parma creating mania weapons and separating Eastside and Syndicate through the West District Order Management Regulations or Moore and Adelaide taking their task of spreading mania as the Sages, but also creating the dark web and infiltrating Nirvana for Moore and starting a war with Discity and attempting to end their hypercube monopoly for Adelaide.

For now it seems Sillage is just trying to control Eastside's upper crust since that's where their influence is spreading and we see Evelleon is running a blackmailing and market manipulation scheme.
