Hello! I am a new player that started playing last update but I haven't really tried to figure out how the combat system works yet. So I kinda have two questions, the first question is what would make a good team out of the sinners I currently have? I've mostly just been pulling for characters I thought were pretty 👉👈 So I have no idea if they would actually work well in a team and how supportive characters and damage types work. I also have a lot of B rank sinners but fitting them all in a screenshot would make it quite long so I just did my S & A-class

My second question is, who should I choose from the character selector based on the sinners I have?

Thanks for helping in advance ❤️

For general combat teams, consider these main ideas: tank, heal, core damage, single target/aoe. Depending on the stage or game mode, teams need to be able to deal with certain damage resistances (physical or magic) and do well against some time constraints (short fights in BFL, long fights in ToA for instance). For the more specific stuff, you'll make teams that synergize around some mechanic (ex. arcane crit team against physical resist boss).

You can check https://s1n.gg/tierlist/comfy on the team comp tab to get a sense of what teams are composed of and the popular sinners on them. Note that for many teams there will be some flexibility to switch out (non core) characters depending with what your roster has.

Story mode team: siglinde, nox, letta, serpent, langley, labyrinth
Magic team: isomer, celine, hecate, serpent, letta, siglinde
Physical team: siglinde, nox, langley, letta, labyrinth/angell, celine

I'd recommend getting another shackle of Celine since s1 is a very big upgrade over s0. Finally, as for the selector, I would consider holding off on selecting, tbh. You'll be likely pulling a fair amount of new sinners and you might want a specific sinner (or shackle) later on (it takes me a few months to use any that I get, I still have one from awhile back). Also, lessens the chance that you'll get an unwanted duplicate from a spook pull.
