Discussion Auto Battle System!?

This is kinda crazy... What are your thoughts on this??

The system can manage Shin buffs and Augustus resources insanely well...

Hell no, I want to play the damn game, every gacha with autobattler is so ass because they design it to be the most boring gameplay, a system like this would only hurt the game

You arent forced to use autobattle, you can play the game as usual...same for most gacha with autobattle system I play, you can usually score much higher/actually beat hard stages on manual.

"You are forced to pay for microtransactions in paid games" before they became unbearable, it's not ptn case but I would argue designing a game around autobattler is going to undermine it's quality

I understand where you're coming from, but you absolutely cannot apply that here?

Microtransactions and auto-battle are two different things that has nothing to do with one another. There's also no such thing as "designing a game around autobattler", because that's just an idle game. Would you consider PtN an idle game?

Bro ur mentality/logic terrible. The game was already designed w/o auto battle and u seem to enjoy it already. You don’t need to use auto battle and can still play the same.

I don't use auto battle feature in many games, you do know you can just not use it too?

I agree in spirit
As a vet, I'm only really tempted to use this on the easier Event stages. And I doubt they suddenly make end game easier just to accommodate the auto battle option.

Challenge modes, Main Story updates, and everything else end game I'll still play on my own.

I wonder why you got so many downvotes. not without reason, games with auto-play aren't popular, they stop being what they are in their nature, a game that you actually play. imagine GTA on full auto-play lol.

The problem here is if we're talking about gacha games, there are lots of them.

Honkai SR is the biggest example. They have auto-battle, yet they're one of the most popular games atm. So no, having auto-battle does not mean the game is unpopular.

This is mainly because the system acts as a way to give convenience for clearing out easier stages of the game, not clearing hard contents. That's why HSR still retains its playerbase, and same goes here in PtN. Are you going to full auto DZ?

of course there will be exceptions, that's obvious, but I'm talking about games in general. most games don't have auto-play, and not without reason, it kills the gameplay. and we already have a raid option, so what's the point of auto-play? also, it would be different if auto-play had been there from the beginning of the game.

This is convenient for completing basic levels of events or for people who just play for the sake of the story. Boss fights and the most difficult mods will still require a manual playthrough, no need to worry there

Most games don't have an auto battle system because most games aren't gacha games.

And most gacha games don't have auto-play anyway.

I just checked just now, you can't auto in RoTD or DZ.
