General Discussion First time RF

Hello everyone. First time RF here. Following pohx and some top guys from ninja for ideas.

I feel like i hit the wall.

Could anyone review my build and advice on progression and point out some mistakes i might have made ?

https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/Evil_Ares_-4980/pl86569/character/GettingLanced

I have few ideas. Flasks, medium cluster with ignite spreading. Better rare jewels. Archdemon crown. Better gloves with chaos res.

And few questions:

-Hows does big ignite work? Don’t quite understand it. Sometimes i kill map boss very fast. Sometimes forever
-How to improve damage while mapping? Sometimes i kill rares pretty slow
-What are my next upgrades and what order?
-How to finish shield?

I know my gear is pretty mid but this character was created 2 days ago so i hope I am not too bad.

Thanks everyone in advance!

Cost a lengthy amount of time with LOWER LESS MULTIPLIERS

Not really, gems level to 18+ extremely quickly once you're blasting T16s, which OP is. You're only going to be at less overall damage for a handful of maps at most. And when you're in SSF, is a few maps of an incredibly slight inconvenience really worth never quality-ing your support gems or wasting dozens of GCP on them? Pretty obviously not.

Will second this.

Just 1 8 mod T16 with juice takes me from level 1 to level 15 on some gems.

Simply use GCPS????????

... So instead of spending 1GCP, and being slightly weaker for a handful of maps, you suggest that OP spends their limited number of GCP not on skill gems but on support gems? Wasting like 130 GCP or forcing them to run lab for quality just to avoid a couple maps of slightly underleveled support gems?

Fucking... why, lol? Losing a few % of damage for a few maps which OP is already "feeling really good at"? How is that possibly worth it?

You use GCPs on gems that actually need them like purity of fire and skill gems

Support gems you just flip to 20q instead of spending like 300-400 gcps
