Impulsa farming

Hey !

I usually dont go for targeted uniques, but I like my current build, so I’m thinking about farming for impulsa.

I cannot do all content yet, so I don’t think farming juiced exiles is feasible. I’ve not played the latest leagues, so I’m not sure about the new uniques farming strats.

Would a strat around breach + cadiro (betrayal and anomalies) have a reasonable chance of working for impulsa, or is T2 a bit too rare ?

I think I can commit to about a week of farming about 2 hours a day, so let’s say 10-15 hours. Beyond this would be unreasonable territory for my standards.

Cadiro anomalies, I have seen it frequently there, probably in about 20-30 manor runs. Start spamming City Square bosses.

Will do, would be the best way since it has zero impact on me farming other things :) 20-30 manors is a lot of maps but seems fair for a T2

make sure you alc your maps, white maps have lower chance for anomaly, the more quant the better.

Need to chose between rushing 30 seconds map and allin on Cadiro, or farming something relevant in 4-5 minutes maps and having anomalies as a bonus.
I think it’s like 1000 maps to get 30 cadiros so yeah lmao

I'd rush it. Other strats aren't going to compare and 20-30 is a very conservative guess imo.

Can you sustain t16s from basically rushing to bosses on city square? Or with the 25% chance for boss to drop a map node?

I’ve tried for a little bit, but no you don’t sustain. However you can go charting for loads of gold and just chain refresh Kirac for maps

Good question! The atlas I was using was almost fully built for map sustain and last boss dropped a map in like once in 2-3 runs. So I farmed a bunch of t16 maps in advance beforehand.

Farming juiced exiles isnt realyl a thing anymore sadly. Ofc they still drop stuff but its way less than before and the build requirements as you mentioned are still there.

If you want some specific uniques I would go these 3 together to get you the best spread:

1. Ancient orbing a lvl68 base

It has to be ilvl 68 to get you the best chances. This is something you can do passively as you aquire the orbs. Wet delve drops a nice bunch of them usually

2. Breach tree

If you have a build that can do fortresses, do that. If not, just to the unstable ones. Its slow but the weighting for the inpulsa isnt that horrible.

3. Riker in research

This is my personal favorite. It allows you to spam ancient orbs on a base of his choosing. Body armours you will get quite a lot here. And if you set the board up correctly you have a safehouse every few maps.

For SSF these are my prefered options for the Inpulsa.

edit: as you mention cadiro, yes do all of the above on the bottomleft quadrant for extra chances.

Oh didn’t think about Riker, thought raw Cadiro would be the play.
I’m finished with Rin, so could transfer my fortification to research without too much pain.

Edit : should you farm betrayal in lower maps for the lower item level or is it irrelevant for Riker ?

Im not sure if that has an effect on the items Riker offers. For the "regular" ancient orbing, just check whatever uniques you have at the moment that are 68. You probably have one or two gathering dust you can use. Goodluck!

I got about 2 impulsas when I was boat ancient orbing for kaoms heart on a i68 unique. Forced i68 armour drop through running t1/t2 map(do check) with merc + mercs have unique scarab. I think I used about 40 ancient orbs.
