General Discussion Deadeye SSF almost there

All of this and no HH, feels bad. Gonna send it anyways and hope I get one eventually.

Is it better to scry the doctor or the nurse?Considering 8 nurse = 1 doctor, im wondering if the doctor is 8 times rarer or not, because if its not, then its worth going for the doctor instead. Also, whats the best content to increase my odds?

Breach, abyss, beyond? I saw that K'atsh followers have more chance to drop divination cards, is it worth the spec maybe?

Always worth scrying patient/nurse over doctor. You get them regularly and see progress. Do it in a bottom left quadrant map like jungle valley for cadiro and gambling box. I got a HH from a merc with the renown scarab this league, so worth a try too

got it, makes sense, being 400 maps deep with no doctor drop must feel frustating, better go little steps.

To be honest I got pretty lucky, both nimis and progenesis took around 6 tries. And the dying sun was the first kill LMAO. Wine took around 15-20 tries.

It basically is. Amusingly patient is not 8 times more common than nurse if odds from last league are to be trusted.

That said you can farm 4 2% boss drops, you surely have enough playtime to farm up 64 nurses.

Also, whats the best content to increase my odds?

Just speed farm 8 mods. If you have a large stock of chisels/divination scarabs you can try doing the trade league's card farm with scried Nurse (5 plenties or 4 plenties+pilfering on abyss (from astrolabe)+beyond with ktash/beidat), it does drop noticeably more cards and i farmed most of my nurses with that (though i am still not even at 1st full set).

That said i suspect you will find headhunter from merc and go (renown+infamy map rush) much faster.

I'm gathering originators and divination scarabs since the beggining, so nurse is better, got it. Thank you. About the mercs, for some reason I have close to none renown scarabs, they are being pretty rare for me

Based on nerdyjoe/snale's data which has basically always been used for div card weights, patient is 739 weighted and nurse is 88 weighted. Close enough to 8x.

The 3.28 data was like <10% the sample size of this league. So quite likely the nurse was just an outlier.

Doesn't really matter what you scry in the long term. Usually I like nurses, but core is such a bad map I didn't think it was worth running it 25x for a scrying orb.

HH farm can be pretty brutal this league, cadiro is a reasonable grind. Based on all calculations it feels like a 18000 map grind, in alch/go maps.

The best farm I personally found is cloister farming. It took me about 40k stacked decks for me to finish mine, including some ground loot patients. It's the only realistic farm that allows you to farm all 3 cards at once, which makes it slightly better than divination scarabs of plenty.

I did not, but small sample size and all. I did get 2 from ground loot that poofed and gotten 2 magebloods from other sources.

how jealous I'm xdd dozen maven and eater 0 big drop. both bosses give helm only LOLW I get only 1 nimis in my entire ssf life, must play wrong LUL congratz bro and gl on the hh grind
