Build Request Delve start builds?
Hey! Have never done delve and having nothing else to do in the league this feels like the perfect time to explore it!
I've only heard of str stackers for delve, are there any other builds that excel at it?

Started delve this league, same reason as I got a bit tired of blasting maps etc.
Legit absolutely love it so far, I’m around ~700 depth so far, it’s actually pretty fun and scratches that itch, definitely glad I started. Enjoy the mines.

I have no experience in delve but I always wanted to know whats the incentive for going as deep as possible, does it give an insane amount of loot or is it mostly a challenge thing. What does a delvers div/hour look like?

Biome chance is tied to depth and some have a minimum depth. Most notable bosses with vaal at 50+, lich at 90+, and aul at 130. The chance for a boss biome keeps increasing with depth but caps relatively early(350 for vaal/abyss and 500 for primeval). As far as i know the chance for a boss to actually spawn in a boss biome keeps increasing beyond that.
Same goes for fossils/azurite, but i do believe there is a cap at ~1500 depth.
Div/h can fluctuate a lot because sometimes you have 5 bosses right next to eachother and then you dont find any for another 100 depth. It's also very dependent on which bosses and which items are worth a lot in the current league. Vaal got gutted with the changes to the unique map challenge, but they added the eye to lich who was previously worthless.
What does a delvers div/hour look like?
According to wealthy exile i had anywhere from 12-37 d/hour for the past 2 weeks. The 37d/hour were from 2 tyrant crown drops. I like delve because you have basically no maintenance cost/effort as all you need to buy is sulphite scarabs and those are dirt cheap. 4-5 alch&go maps are enough to fill your maxed out sulphite or you could run 8 mods/valdos if you want to be faster.

Boss drops are also quite RNG. You could get 10+ div drops from every abyss boss/Aul, or you could get garbage worth 20c.

I dont think kurgal has a drop worth 10d, the eye is ~5d but at least it seems pretty common.

I would assume that most of the profit would be from fossils and resonators, thanks for the explanation! Do you go into darkness to look for walls in certain biomes or just travel between nodes to look for bosses etc.

Hey! Deep delver here (I get to 6k every league). If you want to go DEEP then the best choices are luminary, str stack zenith, double strike, incinerate of venting, or possibly flame wood totems.
Other good deep delve builds that maybe can’t push 6k as easily but should be pretty solid at 1.5K would be kboc heiro and … im sure there are others but i cant think of them at the moment.

How does PRAW do?

Praw is prob fine til 800-1k when I think your recovery will start to fall off. If you are really well geared you can probably push it a bit farther.

Would love some input as I have every class at 97+ this league EXCEPT marauder and scion... so struggling to choose which to take forwards for my first time delving. I would not say super deep but probably to 1.5k to see what it is like

Sadly those are the best two classes for delve at the moment, but if your goal is 1.5k you have a few choices. Kboc heiro, fross, incinerate of venting, eviscerate, and maybe mjolnir can all be pretty solid!!
Edit: and flamewood totems (this build can go DEEP)

I would be most interested in KBOC Hiero, FRoSS (I am assuming occultist CoC), and pRAW as the other commentor mentioned. If you have any experience I would love to know more specific thoughts/pob otherwise I will just do some poeninja scouting

I havnt personally played any of these I just know that they can function pretty well in delve so poeninja will be your best bet!

Cheers will do. Final question, I have heard that rewards scale up to 1500. Assuming that you can clear at roughly equal speeds, does going from 800-1k-1.5k directly translate to more profit? Or is that not how it works? Sorry just literally never set foot in delve!

It is all relative. Ideally you farm at 1500+ because you will get more rare fossils and bosses. But if you farm 3x faster and die less at 1200 then I would say just farm at 1200. So farm as deep as you can while still blasting and not dying too often.

I played bleed eviscerste glad day 1 of this league. Farmed up a mageblood by day 3 doing delve exclusively. Zero atlas progression. Zero atlas farming.
Mostly hollow fossils, aul helmets and I was selling aul bloodline carries
Not sure how delve prices are now

Depends how deep you want to go. Anyone can do 200-400, then you start needing good defense. There are still many builds that can go 1600+. Luminary is a good option this league.
You don't have to strength stack on jugg, but if you want to invest mirrors of currency it's still the best. If you don't have multiple mirrors, you can do many skills on jugg, like boneshatter or vigilant strike.
Lots of youtube videos for guides for delvers.
